How Has a Betrayal from a Partner, Family Member or Friend Impacted Your Work?

An unhealed betrayal (even if it happened years ago) impacts our health, work and relationships.

How an unhealed betrayal impacts our relationships

For example, it impacts relationships and be seen in the form of repeat betrayals (a classic sign of an unhealed betrayal). It can also be seen in those who put that big wall up, keeping everyone at a distance. That pain was so great that we’d rather keep everyone away than take that chance of being hurt again.

How an unhealed betrayal impacts our health

Regarding our health, an unhealed betrayal can be seen in exhaustion, anxiety, weight issues, digestive challenges, sleep disturbances, immune suppression, accelerated aging and so much more. While we may think those issues are due to stress or aging, they’re often tied directly to the unhealed betrayal.

How an unhealed betrayal impacts our work

Betrayal impacts how we show up at work too. It impacts our ability to trust others (if the person we trusted the most proved untrustworthy, how can we trust that boss, coworker, collaborative partner)? It impacts our confidence, our productivity, inhibits our innovation, morale, energy, etc.

Can you help me, help you?

So, I’m doing some research and I’d love your help. How has an unhealed betrayal impacted YOUR work? Has it led to less sales, more anxiety, an inability to focus? Have you taken sick days, find it nearly impossible to stay focused and concentrate? Feel free to share your story here but if you’d rather stay anonymous (your name and company won’t be shared), please message me or email me at Debi@PBTInstitute.com .

The PBT Institute and it’s newest division, PBT Corporate, is headed into companies both big and small. There’s a proven and predictable research based way to heal physically, mentally and emotionally from ALL of it, yet many companies aren’t aware. So, while well intentioned, their employees are receiving support that’s actually keeping them stuck instead of moving them forward. The support that’s designed to help is often unintentionally keeping them in Stage 3 (out of the 5 Stages from Betrayal to Breakthrough).

What’s the benefit when someone moves through the 5 Stages from Betrayal to Breakthrough?

The benefit to employees?  To help employees fully and completely move through their betrayals so they look, feel, live and perform better.

The benefit to employers? To save on health care costs, absenteeism and presenteeism, while seeing a boost in healthy, happy, productive employees along with a boost in their bottom line.

I’m so looking forward to hearing how your experience OUTSIDE of work is impacting you INSIDE of your work.

Thanks for your willingness to share and as a thank you, I’m happy to gift you a copy of our newest ebook: The Trust Factor: How to Build, Maintain, and Repair Trust in the Workplace. Just let me know and I’ll send it out to you.
