The Certification that Finally Gets Your Stuck Clients Moving Through:

The 5 Stages of Betrayal Recovery™

If you work with clients who are stuck — in their business, their goals, their relationships, or their sense of self — betrayal recovery certification may be the missing piece you didn't know you needed. The PBT® Institute's certification program trains coaches, therapists, and practitioners to recognize and address betrayal, even when clients don't come to you with that label.

Because often, what looks like resistance, self-sabotage, or a mindset block is actually unresolved betrayal — and it can happen years before they ever found you.

The #1 betrayal recovery certification program for life, business, health and leadership coaches
Start when you're ready. Learn at your own pace.

You care deeply about helping people heal — but without the right training, you might be missing what's actually keeping them stuck.

Without this framework, you'll use general tools on a specific problem. Your clients will make some progress, then plateau. They'll wonder if something is wrong with them. You'll wonder if something is wrong with your coaching. And the clients who need you most - the ones carrying unresolved betrayal - will quietly stop believing healing is possible.

With it, you become the practitioner people specifically seek out. The one who gets results others can't. The one clients refer their friends to because something finally shifted.

The Post Betrayal Transformation® Certification

Program is a comprehensive, evidence-based training that equips coaches, therapists, and healers to support clients through betrayal confidently and effectively.

You'll learn the proven 5 Stages of Betrayal Recovery™, gain specialized tools and handouts, and join a network of passionate professionals committed to deep healing.

The PBT® Certification is Based on:
The 5 Stages of Betrayal Recovery™
And is For:

Coaches & Healers

  • Coaches (New or Established): You want a specialization that attracts committed clients, commands premium rates, and gives your practice a clear identity.
  • Healers: Your clients' physical symptoms are often rooted in emotional wounds. This certification helps you address the whole person.
  • Health Coaches: Your clients are following the plan — and still not getting results. Before you change the program, consider what the program can't fix: betrayal lives in the nervous system, drives cortisol, disrupts sleep, and keeps the body in survival mode long after the event itself. When you're certified in The 5 Stages of Betrayal Recovery™, you stop guessing why your client is stuck and start addressing the root cause that's been blocking their results all along.

Therapists & Counselors

  • Practitioners: You already work with trauma — this gives you a proven methodology specifically for betrayal, so you can go deeper and get better outcomes.
  • Business, Leadership & Life Coaches
Your client is smart, resourceful, and knows exactly what to do — and still can't make themselves do it. Before you add another framework or accountability system, consider this: betrayal from a past partnership, relationship, or family wound can look exactly like resistance, self-sabotage, or a mindset block. When you're certified in The 5 Stages of Betrayal Recovery™, you finally have the tools to unlock the clients who've been stuck despite doing everything right.

You'll walk away with:

  • The complete PBT® methodology for guiding clients through betrayal trauma recovery
  • Your Certified PBT® Coach credential
  • Session frameworks and client tools you can use immediately
  • A business foundation to attract and enroll betrayal recovery clients

"Certification through the PBT institute will give you the confidence needed to be able to navigate this absolutely amazing, but often challenging, work."

READY TO SPECIALIZE OR ADD THESE POWERFUL TOOLS TO YOUR TOOLKIT?

Most coaches and practitioners recoup their investment within their first 2–3 betrayal recovery clients.

The question isn't whether you can afford to do this — it's whether you can afford to keep practicing without this specialization.

Meet Dr. Debi Silber

Betrayal changed my life—and it led me to create this program. Through my own painful experiences and doctoral research, I discovered what makes healing from betrayal different, predictable, and transformational.

💡 3 Breakthrough Discoveries:

  1. Post Betrayal Transformation® is different from other forms of healing
  2. Recovery follows The 5 Stages of Betrayal Recovery™
  3. There are measurable symptoms of betrayal known as Post Betrayal Syndrome®

This certification is built on those discoveries—backed by research and designed for transformation.

- Michelle, Therapist and PBT® Practitioner

“The PBT Institute changed my life. I went from a therapist who never thought I’d go through betrayal to becoming a client and student of betrayal to now use the skills I’ve learned to help others.”

- Lisa, PBT® Coach

This experience was incredibly helpful, insightful and truly relatable. Dr. Debi’s approach made it easy to connect with the material and understand complex concepts in a way that felt manageable. The resources provided were straight forward, and the entire process was seamless. I walked away feeling empowered and motivated to take the next steps in my personal growth and to help others with their own Post Betrayal Transformation.

- Traci, PBT® Coach

Thank you for helping me become myself. When I first signed up, I thought I was doing it to heal from my husband’s betrayal — and to help others do the same. But as it turned out, I was healing something much deeper: my core identity. Through this program, I began mending childhood wounds, healing from the betrayals of my parents, and deprogramming disempowering beliefs that had shaped my life for as long as I can remember.”

- Freja, PBT® Coach

FAQs

HOW LONG DOES CERTIFICATION TAKE?

The program is designed to fit around your existing practice. Most participants complete it within 8-12 weeks while continuing to see clients.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PBT® COACH AND PBT® PRACTITIONER?

Great question! A Certified PBT® Coach has a coaching background or is a wellness/health/mindset/personal development healer of some kind. A Certified PBT® Practitioner is a Therapist, Counselor, Psychologist, Psychiatrist or Doctor. The training is the same for both and the opportunities are the same as well. The difference is in the fees after certification (if working within The PBT® Institute), your logo and certificate.

IS THERE A QUIZ/TEST/CASE STUDY?

Yes. There’s an exam and a case study conversation with Dr. Debi so you can discuss the clients most likely to come your way. There’s also group calls for questions and business building (with our PBT Pro upgrade). Most importantly, we’re here to support you. We want you to succeed and we want to ensure that you infuse your unique skills and talents into your coaching.

HOW MUCH CAN I CHARGE AS A PBT® COACH OR PRACTITIONER

That depends on your existing practice and market, but certified coaches commonly charge premium rates for specialized trauma recovery work. Most graduates recoup their investment within their first 2–3 clients.

Your clients aren't stuck because they're not trying hard enough. They're stuck because something is lodged in their nervous system that no goal-setting exercise can reach.
Unstuck gives coaches and practitioners the research-backed framework to understand what betrayal really does — and how to finally help clients move through it.
