In today’s episode, Zoe Thompson tells her story about being in a domestic abuse relationship, what served as her inspiration to change, and exactly how she did it.  

Sometimes life strips away the person who you knew yourself to be. When you rise from the ashes you are given the opportunity to build something stronger and more powerful. Times of adversity build an inner strength that you can use in a positive way to rise to thrive. 

That’s what Zoe did. 

This is her story.  

2005 was her catalyst for change, to leave an unhealthy marriage and lifestyle and rise from the ashes. What started out as a journey of recovery became a journey of mental and physical strength to become a more powerful version of her.
