You thought this person had your back. You thought the two of you were honoring the same rules, sharing the same moral code, and respecting the same beliefs. This was a person you loved, trusted, and believed. Then, in one painful instant, your sense of safety and security is shattered. The shock is imprinted on your body and mind. Your heart breaks, you feel like you got sucker punched, and the pain is so raw, consuming, and overwhelming you can barely breathe. Someone close to you, possibly a family member, partner, or friend, just pulled the rug out from underneath you—lies you so easily believed and actions you dismissed because it never crossed your mind that the one you trusted the most could ever hurt you.
This is what it feels like when trust is shattered and…you’re not alone.
That’s why I’m inviting you to the 5-Day Trust Again Challenge. Take about 30 minutes each day over a 5-day period to do some simple exercises that will bring big results to the way you think, feel and act. By the end of the 5 days you’ll be able to identify, discover, create and install a new plan…so you can feel safe again, love again, trust again.
If you’ve ever:
Distanced yourself so no one can get close to you or your heart
Prevented yourself from having close relationships out of fear of being vulnerable or hurt
Believed that you’ll never be able to trust others again
Questioned your ability to know if someone is or isn’t trustworthy
Struggled with trusting in yourself and your decisions
